Just got home from the San Antonio Bridal Extravaganza. Wow! Got to talk to (and pray for) a lot of brides and grooms. I very much enjoy playing for weddings. My intent is to bless the newlyweds with the music I play.
Played the New Braunfels Farm to Market on Saturday. This day was special in that my dear friend Sam Elrod is heading to Colorado to go to Bible School, and this Saturday was his last Saturday at the market (and his last Saturday in Texas!) Sam enjoys my music, so I believe that it was a blessing for him to have me play for his last day in New Braunfels. God bless you Sam. May His decrees be the theme of your song wherever you lodge! Psalm 119:54
Mothers' Day! Played at Salado Creek Boutique in Los Patios, and had my good friend Juan Rivera and family (AKA: Reaching the Globe) film 4 songs so I could create a music video for my website and the upcoming Bridal Extravaganza.
Enjoyed playing for the Second Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at the New Braunfels Heritage Village. Also performing were the Gemischter Chor Harmonie from New Braunfels. Look for me to play there again next year...on the Saturday following Thanksgiving.

Excited to attend the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival (SAICFF) in San Antonio this week. Two of my original compositions are in the "Captivated" soundtrack, along with an arrangement that I collaborated on with the director of Media Talk 101, Phillip Telfer. Should be a great week!

Played for the second time at Sundance Inn Health Center in New Braunfels. The very best part of the day was the resident, Carla, who sang along to every worship chorus that I played! Also enjoyed meeting the staff member, Mari, who is getting married in April. May the Lord richly bless your marriage!

Finally finished CD #3. Grace in Your Day - Instrumental Hymns. Stay tuned. It will be posted on this site very soon.
And don't forget the gig in Wimberley this Saturday! It's gonna be good!
Invited by the good folks at Rough Creek Lavender Fields to play for their new Farmers Market in Wimberley.
Mark your calendars for October 15, 2011 from 5-9PM.
Been working on the Hymns CD and am almost finished. I hope to get my music into the Musical Ambience collection at Hobby Lobby, so I'm motivated to complete this project. Meanwhile have played for a wonderful wedding at 3 Rivers Church in San Marcos, and went back to the New Braunfels Farm to Market and was blessed with a cloudy and breezy day. (Yes, it's hot here in Texas!)
Finished up the totally revamped website, including the addition of music samples and a shopping cart. Thanks to Ric Hancock of Brighthouse Web Solutions for your tech support, hosting, and friendship!
Next on Steve's agenda is an album featuring well-loved traditional Hymns in the same style.
Then, perhaps, an album of favorite Messianic songs.
Then, instrumental Worship album number two,
followed by Christmas album number two, just in time for Christmas 2011.
Had a wonderful time providing music for the New Braunfels Farm to Market! Great weather. Great people. Great town. Sold out of all the "Peace in Your Day" CD's I had! (I'm not gonna disclose how many I had with me.) Thanks to the folks at New Braunfels Music for making it possible.
Finished the new CD, "Peace in Your Day" just in time for the Above Rubies Ladies Retreat in Brownwood, Texas, where I provided dinner music for -what else- dinner on Friday and Saturday.
